While this is not a complete list, here are a number of the most recent items that have been recalled in the last several months for various reasons. There have been a number of children-related items, some of which are listed below:
Graco Mfg is recalling several models of its most popular strollers. Graco has issued a recall for 11 models of strollers, please call the Graco Hotline at 800-345-4199 or visit www.gracobaby.com to find out if your stroller is included. Graco reports that the sides of the strollers can fold and pinch a child’s fingers to the point of causing lacerations and even amputations. Several dozen injuries to children have been reported. These strollers were sold at large department stores such as Target and Walmart and online through Amazon from August 2000 through November 2014.
Artic Cat Single Rider and 2-Up Style ATVs due to components in the front gear mount failing and causing loss of control and crashes. These vehicles were sold through Artic Cat dealerships from May 2007 through October 2014.
Schiller Grounds Care Bob-Cat Zero Turn Lawn Mowers due to steering column breaking causing operator to lose control and crash. These mowers were sold through Bob-Cat dealerships from January 2013 through April 2014.
Ethan Allen Harwood Floor Lamp due to a defect in the insulation of the line cord which can result in shock to the operator and pose a possible fire hazard. The lamp was sold through Ethan Allen Design Centers from November 2013 through October 2014.
Kidde Hardwired Combination Smoke and CO2 Detectors due to the unit failing to warn users of a fire or CO2 hazard after a power outage. These detectors were sold by several retailers, including Amazon and Home Depot from October 2013 through May 2014.
